Tourmalines

These are very rare minerals that cannot be counterfeited.

They are called a talisman for those born in the year of the Horse.

Kings loved tourmaline very much. At the end of the 18th century, King Gustav VIII of Sweden presented Empress Catherine II with a bunch of grapes made of raspberry-red tourmalines with green enamel leaves around them. This gift weighed 255 carats.

And Anna Ioannovna's crown was decorated with a tourmaline weighing 500 carats.

Today, there are several varieties of tourmalines:

Siberians. They have a purple-red color. These stones are ideal amulets for artists.
Verdelite. It has a green color. It is said to heal diseases of the skin, nervous system, blood and liver.
Dravite. This is a yellow-brown stone. It is said that a hot-tempered person, wearing this stone, is able to restrain negativity and anger.
Indicolite. A blue stone that supports the hormonal and immune systems.
Achroite. A colorless tourmaline that protects a person.
Schorl. A black tourmaline that maintains the physical and mental peace of the wearer.
